Hummer 4x4 & Rafting Trip Description
Enjoy Moab's canyon country from two vantage points, top to bottom and bottom to top. In the morning you'll look across the Colorado River to Arches National Park and down into slickrock canyons from the seat of a Hummer. In the afternoon you'll gaze upward from a raft or kayak at the soaring walls of the Colorado River canyon as you float downstream. Riding in a Hummer lets you experience the thrills of backcountry travel to places where you could never take the family sedan! Add this experience to a half day of rafting, kayaking or inflatable kayaking on the Colorado River and you're sure to have an adventurous day.
March through October
Morning Hummer tour meets at Canyon Voyages at 8:15 am and they will return you to the Canyon Voyages store in time for the 11:45 am departure time for the Fisher Tower Afternoon Half-Day. You will return from the river at approximately 4:00 pm
Adult $114/ Youth $75- 14 and under
-This price reflects a 10% discount on the river portion.
-Price includes all transportation and a deli buffet lunch
on the Mid-day rafting portion
This package has a two person minimum
What to Bring
For the morning Hummer tour you will want to bring a light jacket as it can be chilly. They will drop you off at Canyon Voyages at the end of your drive and you should be ready to load into the Canyon Voyages vehicle for transport to the river. Lunch on the river is included with this package.
For the river portion you should bring:
- Water bottle - each boat carries ice water for refills
- Swimsuit or T-shirt and shorts, or long sleeve shirt for sun protection
- Comfortable shoes that can get wet. It is best if they have straps or laces. Rental booties
available.
- Hat or visor
- Sunglasses, with retainer strap
- Sunscreen and lip balm
- Camera (at your own risk, we highly recommend waterproof cameras for sale in our store)
- A light jacket for spring and fall trips
Each raft will have a waterproof bag for your day items
This trip will meet at our store at 211 North Main St. Click for directions. Caps, shirts, sunscreens, cameras and more are available for purchase. We have plenty of parking available at our store and adjacent side street.
Guide gratuities are not included in the cost of the trip.
