Rock Art Tours
At
least five Indian cultures have lived in the Moab area over the last four
thousand years leaving numerous reminders of their lives on the cliff
walls of the canyonlands in the form of rock art. On a CANYON VOYAGES
ADVENTURE CO. ROCK ART TOUR you can drive or hike to some of the best
known, and some of the least known, of these enigmatic and evocative images.
Our guides know the archeological context of the art, so you'll
also be learning about the lifestyle of these ancient people while you
enjoy their art and their desert. Half day and full day tours are available,
but whichever you choose, a CANYON VOYAGES TOUR will span centuries of
local history.
