Calm Water Kayak
Some people just love to float downstream as the captains of their own craft. From our extensive kayak fleet we can accommodate novice paddlers, and those with more advanced boating skills. Choose our Calm Water Trips if you want to paddle a hardshell kayak (recreational and touring models available). Or select our new Inflatable Kayak trip to try our stable, 2-person “duckies” so you can run some super fun whitewater. Trips meet and depart at the Canyon Voyages store on Main St in downtown Moab.

Half Day- Calm Water Kayak
Kayak the calm stretches of the Colorado River near Moab and experience a new world as you glide downstream along side of Arches National Park. Your guide will assist you in learning or improving paddling techniques to make your adventure more enjoyable. A variety of single and tandem boat models are available to fit different sized paddlers and ability levels. This is a great trip for novice paddlers who will enjoy recreational kayaks, which are wider and more stable. If you have more boating experience you may want to try touring kayaks (sometimes called sea kayaks), which are longer, narrower and faster. Our Calm Water Kayak tour is a great trip for those with limited time, or those who want to include a river adventure in a multi-sport combination package. This is a great trip for people with basic athletic skills.
